If you are considering upgrading or replacing your current system you most likely have either encountered significant problems (crashes, slow performance, old CPU, old version of Windows, etc.), have a desire to utilize technology (software, hardware, Windows XP) that your current system can\'t handle effectively, or just plain want a faster system. Another reason for replacing your system may be for increased mobility.
If you currently have a desktop or tower (floor standing) system but you need a portable (laptop/notebook) system the choice is relatively clear - buy a new system. No amount of upgrading, troubleshooting, or waiting will turn your desktop system into a laptop system.
